HOME ADDITIONS

Design-Build
Grason Construction can provide turn-key design & construction services for your new home addition and remodel. Starting from your initial in-home consultation, we work closely with you, the homeowner, as well as designers, architects, and engineers to create the construction documents required for submitting to the local building department and obtaining the necessary permits. There are many benefits to choosing this project delivery method:

  • We are the single point of contact for the homeowner
  • Greatest control over construction costs since we are in constant communication with the architect and engineers throughout the design process.
  • Quick turnaround time for design

Design-Bid-Build
If you have already retained the services of an architect to design your project, we can provided a competitive bid based on the existing plans and specifications. This option is called design-bid-build and also has its own advantages for the homeowner:

  • Homeowner has ability to hire the architect or designer they prefer
  • Homeowner has more control over design & architectural elements
  • Homeowner has a full set of drawings which they can send to multiple contractors for bidding

Things to consider carefully when selecting this option:

  • Without contractor input during the design process, construction bids could end up being more than the homeowner’s desired budget, requiring re-design and additional design fees
